Little Known Facts About Fairview, NC

When people think of the mountains of Western, NC  and specifically the Asheville area, lots of great things come to mind such as the  The Biltmore Estate, The Grove Park Inn, and events such as Bele Chere and Shindig On The Green.  Not many people hear about our neat little towns on the outskirts with lots of offerings of their own.  Fairview, NC  is a town southeast of Asheville, NC with a population of about 2,678 and has some of the best views in the area with elevations averaging around 2300 ft.

While in the area you'll be sure to find local farms for touring, events and purchasing, such as Hickory Nut Gap Farm and Taylor Ranch; shopping with a local flare at Troyer's Country Amish Blatz, and eateries of interest to include Piazza and The Local Joint.  Fairview also offers quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and just a short trip to Lake Lure & Chimney Rock as you head further away from Asheville.
